MURA Field in Minneapolis partners with the St Paul field at the Hmong College Preparatory Academy (HCPA Field) so teams can register once then sign-up for time on either field. This allows a team to use whichever field is available by registering and paying once. Just as in a match, the field has room for six robots with drivers and limited pit crew.
Camden, Southwest, Roosevelt and Washburn teams on the field
To Register you will need:
An annual Certificate of Liability for MURA and for HCPA (from your school administrator)
List of FIRST Youth Protection Program (YPP) verified mentors who will accompany your team
Information for a lead team contact
Login to the Sign-up Genius to reserve time (it's easier to change a signup if you're logged in when you make it)
Be sure to check your schedule and remove your signup if you cannot attend.
Only sign up for one slot per week so everyone has a chance to practice
If you can’t get a slot, put your team on the WaitList for that day or check the other field to make a reservation
You will receive a reminder 3 days before your reservation, sent to the email you used when you signed up.
Signup will open for the 2026 FRC season in January 2026
Teams must be accompanied by a mentor who has been FIRST YPP verified. When registering, please submit a firstinspires.org screenshot of the team’s FIRST roster showing YPP verified mentors. We need the list at least five days before your team’s first arrival at the field. Be sure that each mentor who visits the field shows as “Youth Protection Screening verified”, a setting that is not visible on the printable roster. We will build a list of screened mentors for your team.
Please limit attendance to your drive team and members required to keep the robot running.
To use this facility, MURA must have on file a Certificate of Liability provided by your school/organization unless you are part of the MPS system. The Certificate is routinely used to protect a school against liability that may be caused by a visiting team.
The certificate holder must be listed as:
Minneapolis Public Schools
Special School District #1
1250 Broadway
Minneapolis, MN
55411
Expiration: 7/1/2026
Please submit your Certificate via the Registration form at least 3 days before your team’s first arrival at the field. Teams without this certificate will not be allowed to participate in FRC-related events on this field.
MURA must have an MPS Certificate of Liability on file before you arrive.
All participants must wear safety glasses at all times when at the field.
Participants may only access the robotics area, restrooms, and main hallway to the Door 1 building entrance.
Practice gracious professionalism and FIRST code of conduct.
Be responsible for your team’s safety and correct, safe use of tools.
Absolutely no fabrication is allowed on the field or common areas. Please remove the robot to the shop for repairs.
Use during the season is intense. Please leave the space as clean as you found it.
Report any injuries or damage to the field supervisor immediately.
Please bring current game elements with team number indelibly marked (and take them when you leave)
Teams must be out of the robotics arena by the end of their time slot
Each team will be asked to pay $250 as soon as possible to cover the cost of building field elements for each year's game.
