Join our mission to inspire and empower students through robotics! Volunteers play a vital role in our alliance, sharing their expertise and enthusiasm to guide students toward success. Whether you’re an industry professional, an experienced builder, or simply passionate about STEM, there’s a place for you at MURA.

Currently Seeking Volunteers for the following roles:

Shop Mentors

Share your expertise in manual and CNC machining to help students bring their designs to life. Your guidance will ensure students master critical manufacturing skills safely and effectively.

CAD/Design Mentors

Help students turn their ideas into reality! If you have experience in computer-aided design, your mentorship can guide teams in creating innovative and functional robot designs.

Robot Building and Assembly Mentors

Have experience with FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition)? Your hands-on knowledge is invaluable for teaching students assembly techniques and troubleshooting as they construct their competition-ready robots.

If you wish to work with a specific team, we can help connect you with a team where your skills will be immediately useful.

Field Supervisors (Saturday Practices)

Assist with field setup, organization, and supervision during our Saturday practice sessions. Your support ensures our teams get the most out of their training time.
